We are seeking a seasoned Lead Java Developer to join our client, a renowned multinational technology company celebrated for its ubiquitous search engine and diverse online services that have seamlessly integrated into the daily lives of billions worldwide.

The engineering team focused on providing tools and services for inventory tracking and management for large Data Centers. The project is a standalone of 13 Developers (Java, Angular and Fullstack).

The person is supposed to become a Technical Lead because the team has grown considerably during the last 6 months.

This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Wroclaw, Krakow or Gdansk.

Responsibilities

• Helping the team members and resolving the obstacles/blockers
• Discussing with the US-based stakeholders the details of the assignments for the team
• The Technical Lead is expected to be hands-on and contribute to the project as an engineer
• Technical Excellence Development
• Review and Propose technical improvements in the system and processes
• Propose improvements in the systems to reduce the amount of failures and new defects
• Discuss the proposals with the Google stakeholders. Implement test & launch the approved improvements
• Measure the impacts of the improvements & publish the findings
• Feature Development ( change & transform)
• Participate in Feature development discussions
• Participate in development of new functionality

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• 4+ years of using Java
• 1+ year of experience in a role of a Technical Lead or Team Lead
• Previous experience of direct communication to the client
• Good problem-solving skills. A successful candidate should be able to analyze and break down problems independently
