Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
Manage full AWS lifecycle, provisioning, automation, and security
Configure and fine-tune cloud infrastructure systems
Perform software upgrades and patch installs
Create scripts for automating client/server functions
Monitor cloud environments using AWS CloudWatch and other tools
Manage disaster recovery and create data backups
Train team members on new cloud technologies or processes
Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
Ensure critical system security using best in class cloud security solutions

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on AWS
Proficient in managing AWS services including IAM, S3, Lambda, and EKS (Kubernetes)
Experienced with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, and GitLab, along with CI/CD pipeline integration
Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
Skilled in Kubernetes for orchestrating containers
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks
Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for automation
Fluent in English with a B2 level proficiency or higher
