Senior Java Developer Description
We are actively seeking a Senior Java Developer to become a part of our remote workforce. Our organization is currently undertaking a significant project that focuses on transitioning and modernizing our traditional application suite into a SaaS-based model, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and frameworks hosted on Oracle Cloud. This position provides a chance to engage in an innovative project that will transform our corporate software environment.

Responsibilities
- Streamline migration processes to boost both efficiency and precision
- Construct and implement control strategies to automate provisioning and streamline the onboarding of customers
- Develop and sustain personal health record systems integral to our product offerings
- Architect, program, and upkeep Java-based components and interfaces
- Engage in every stage of the development lifecycle, from initial concept through to final deployment
- Craft well-structured, testable, and efficient code
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize and design novel features
- Assess user needs to guide the architectural and design decisions of applications
- Generate and maintain comprehensive code documentation and contribute to technical documents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in a Java Developer role
- Advanced skills in using the Spring Framework to develop robust Java applications
- Proficient in utilizing JUnit for crafting and conducting unit tests in Java environments
- Well-versed in CI/CD methodologies for creating automated software delivery pipelines
- Knowledgeable in using Kubernetes to manage applications within containerized environments
- Strong grasp of object-oriented design and SDK development, particularly within cloud-based settings
- Experienced with the infrastructure and services provided by Oracle Cloud
- Fluent in English, with a proficiency level of B2 or higher
Nice to have
- Advanced capabilities in JavaScript for undertaking front-end development tasks
- Experience with TypeScript to develop scalable web applications
- Familiarity with microservices architecture for designing scalable and independently deployable software modules
