Application Support Specialist Description
We are seeking a proactive Application Support Specialist to manage production incidents and ensure timely resolution through effective communication and technical expertise. This role involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including development teams, client business units, and management, while maintaining full awareness of all active incidents and known issues. Success in this role requires a problem-solving mindset, fast and efficient communication, and technical skills to perform daily tasks.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities
- Own and manage production incidents, ensuring timely resolution
- Communicate with development teams, client teams, business teams, and management
- Track and maintain knowledge of all active incidents and known problems
- Perform daily technical tasks, including troubleshooting, log analysis, and file management
- Utilize ITIL-based tools for incident, problem, and change management
- Contribute to knowledge bases and collaborate in Agile workflows using Confluence and Jira
Requirements
- Proven experience in application support or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL (DML operations)
- Strong Linux operations experience (editing files, searching logs, navigating file systems, uploading/downloading files)
- Familiarity with dev tools and troubleshooting for browsers (e.g., Chrome, Safari)
- Knowledge of Java core applications (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic)
- Experience with ITIL methodologies (e.g., ServiceNow for incident/problem/change management)
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools like Jira
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset
- Attention to detail and high level of self-organization
- English proficiency at B2+ level
Nice to have
- Experience with monitoring tools like Sumologic, Grafana, or Sensu
- Knowledge of methodologies and tools for advanced troubleshooting
- Additional certifications in ITIL or Agile frameworks
