We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer teams to define and execute a data quality strategy
• Lead data governance processes including data preparation, generation, obfuscation, integration, slicing, and quality control
• Execute testing across data pipelines, ETLs, APIs, and integration while ensuring performance standards
• Prepare test data sets, conduct data profiling and benchmarking for optimization
• Design and implement a quality verification strategy for data products, maintaining compliance with business standards
• Set up and maintain Data Quality environments adhering to industry requirements, contributing to continuous integration and continuous delivery processes
• Design, build, and maintain data platforms and automated data quality frameworks, troubleshooting issues as required

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Management, Data Quality, or Data Governance
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data pipelines, Data Lakes, and ETL testing
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and familiarity with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP
• Skills in Python or other scripting languages and experience devising test automation frameworks
• Competency in data analysis, requirements validation, and maintaining QA environments
• Expertise in Big Data principles and background in test planning, case design, and result reporting
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with experience in direct customer liaisons
• Proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Experience with data processing technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Pandas, or NumPy
• Understanding of various ETL tools like Databricks
• Basic proficiency in Linux and Bash scripting
• Capability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues, tune performance, and analyze bottlenecks
• Experience in creating Data project Test Strategies
