We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in JavaScript to join our team.

Being a part of the China Delivery team in Shenzhen. As a senior member of the team, you will contribute your expertise and professionalism by participating in the technical decision-making and designing the technical solutions. As a JavaScript professional, you’ll fulfill a key JavaScript Developer role to rationalize practices of Agile Methodology in the development team, partnering with multiple functional roles/teams to ensure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Engage in technical decision-making, design solutions, and implement functionality according to software development principles and best practices, occasionally assuming the roles of Lead and Coordinator
• Conduct code reviews to ensure team's code quality and address software performance issues following best practices
• Work in Agile/Scrum environment to deliver on multiple projects within deadlines
• Explain technical possibilities and limitations to non-technical team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
• Four years of experience in software engineering and development
• Proficiency in building Node.js applications using frameworks like Express.js
• Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Ali Cloud or Docker
• Background in product development including on-demand/live broadcast/RTC
• Familiarity with audio and video protocols like RTMP, RTP, H264
• Experience in designing reusable and maintainable architectures
• Understanding of popular CI/CD tools like Github, Gitlab
• Intermediate level (CEFR B1+) or higher in spoken and written English
