Senior ETL Engineer (Informatica) Description
We are looking for a Senior ETL Engineer to join our team and help execute our ambitious vision.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and performing unit and automation testing of Individual & Family Retail Health Insurance applications and their components, which interface with complex enterprise systems and external vendor systems.
This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, whether it’s from your home or one of our well-equipped offices in Gdańsk, Katowice, Kraków, Łódź, Warsaw, or Wrocław.

Responsibilities
- Leverage existing open-source frameworks, third party components/libraries, and commercial software for tracking, managing and applying database schema changes across multiple environments including production
- Create Data model and efficient reports using BI tools
- Implement automation and repeatable processes to manage all database (DML/DDL) changes
- Work closely with development teams to optimize application performance
- Work closely with production support and triage teams to identify data issues and perform appropriate data cleanup
- Support and enhance existing Individual & Family Retail Health Insurance applications used by consumers as well as operations staff
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with ETL Principles and tools, preferably Informatica, Kafka, AWS Glue
- Proficiency in Database Design and Analysis (relational, XML Schemas, transactional, warehouse, NoSQL, DynamoDB)
- Experience with Data Warehouse and Data Modeling (Star and Dimensional Modeling, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle Database, Oracle XML development, Oracle 11g and Oracle supplied toolsets
- Understanding of Data Concurrency and Consistency Principles
- Experience in database and query tuning, including the ability to review query plans and understand the query optimizer
- Experience with Change Management automation and process improvements (Liquibase)

- Experience with BI and Reporting Tools such as Tableau or any similar tool
