Responsibilities
- Analyze use cases and apply standard engineering methodologies to design and implement integrated solutions
- Conduct complex issue resolutions within your engineering domain
- Research and recommend frameworks, architectural, and code design patterns
- Test and maintain software applications and systems with various development tools
- Lead and participate in design and code reviews
- Refine business requirements in partnership with Product teams
- Collaborate with peers across different regions and functionalities
- Share domain and industry knowledge to enhance engineering practices
- Integrate applications, databases, and platforms to ensure a fully functional solution to a business problem
- Advocate for system resilience, scalability, testing, monitoring, and alerting to enhance project quality
- Report on the status of high-visibility projects to leadership
- Improve customer experiences through innovative technical solutions
- Guide other engineers on software design best practices for maintainability, testability, and observability
Requirements
- Background in designing and building microservices platforms with 3+ years of working experience
- Proficiency in the Spring and Spring Boot stack
- Experience with AWS, CI/CD using Jenkins, and GitHub
- Understanding of features and facilities necessary for application integration and inter-component communication
- Flexibility to research and implement emerging development frameworks and methods
- Capability to lead multi-functional teams and initiatives
- Knowledge of industry standards for code quality and design patterns
- Competency in proactively identifying and solving complex technical problems
- Familiarity with software testing, monitoring, and alerting systems
