Responsibilities

Analyze use cases and apply standard engineering methodologies to design and implement integrated solutions
Conduct complex issue resolutions within your engineering domain
Research and recommend frameworks, architectural, and code design patterns
Test and maintain software applications and systems with various development tools
Lead and participate in design and code reviews
Refine business requirements in partnership with Product teams
Collaborate with peers across different regions and functionalities
Share domain and industry knowledge to enhance engineering practices
Integrate applications, databases, and platforms to ensure a fully functional solution to a business problem
Advocate for system resilience, scalability, testing, monitoring, and alerting to enhance project quality
Report on the status of high-visibility projects to leadership
Improve customer experiences through innovative technical solutions
Guide other engineers on software design best practices for maintainability, testability, and observability

Requirements

Background in designing and building microservices platforms with 3+ years of working experience
Proficiency in the Spring and Spring Boot stack
Experience with AWS, CI/CD using Jenkins, and GitHub
Understanding of features and facilities necessary for application integration and inter-component communication
Flexibility to research and implement emerging development frameworks and methods
Capability to lead multi-functional teams and initiatives
Knowledge of industry standards for code quality and design patterns
Competency in proactively identifying and solving complex technical problems
Familiarity with software testing, monitoring, and alerting systems
