Responsibilities

Translate business goals into detailed project plans and ensure they are executed efficiently
Oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones and delivery dates are met
Facilitate and report on compliance with SOC-2 and NIST standards
Collaborate with engineering leads to align technical prioritization with organizational objectives
Manage conflicts and facilitate discussions to resolution
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to SRE goals, including reliability and compliance
Drive initiatives forward while understanding cloud-native architectures and incident management systems
Utilize observability tools like New Relic and Datadog to identify gaps and propose solutions
Ensure project deliverables align with SRE practices and do not impede feature delivery
Guide teams effectively by removing blockers and supporting continuous improvement

Requirements

At least 2 years of managerial experience in SRE project delivery
Knowledge of project management principles and practices
Working knowledge of SRE practices and cloud engineering
Understanding of cloud-native architectures, incident management, and cost optimization
Proficiency in observability tools such as New Relic or Datadog
Experience with facilitating and reporting on SOC-2 and NIST compliance
Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage conflict resolution

Nice to have

Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile)
Prior experience in a compliance-focused role
Background in deploying large-scale projects within stipulated timeframes
