Lead Java Developer Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to spearhead the creation of a multi-tenant, knowledge-based set of AI applications.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Java and Spring Boot microservices, coupled with substantial experience building cloud-native applications and services. This role involves designing and implementing a backend data ingestion and processing pipeline that effectively transforms private and public documents into reliable analytical data.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable multi-tenant AI applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Create and manage microservice architecture to support application functionality
- Implement robust data ingestion and analytics pipelines for large-scale data processing
- Ensure secure multi-tenant based authentication schemes leveraging industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements
- Conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers to improve code quality and application performance
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Participate actively in Agile development meetings and provide deliverables within timeline
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java and Spring with at least 5 years of working experience
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in microservice architecture pattern and cloud-native applications development
- Background in developing applications on cloud platforms, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (though AWS or Azure experience is also acceptable)
- Knowledge of large-scale data ingestion and data analytics pipelines
- Capability to implement secure multi-tenant based authentication schemes
- Understanding of front-end technologies and platforms
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Flexibility to use Auth0 for authentication solutions
- Familiarity with data software engineering best practices
- Competency in working within the Google Cloud Platform environment
