Senior Data Software Engineer Description
We are seeking a committed Senior Data Software Engineer to become an integral part of our energetic team.
The chosen applicant will be tasked with upgrading and maintaining current systems, as well as enhancing our data acquisition and usage processes to accommodate increasing demands.

Responsibilities
- Maintenance and upgrading of pre-existing data systems
- Development of new features for the existing Data Platform
- Introduction of changes required to facilitate growing data consumption and acquisition
- Resolution of intricate data challenges and conducting root cause analysis in the Generated Business Record (Gold layer)
- Participation in executing new demands from Data Consumers or the Platform team
- Handling complex datasets, including the development of new datasets from the ground up
- Coordinating with senior team members on sophisticated projects, particularly those involving the incorporation of substantial new datasets
- Adjusting to new tools and methodologies appearing in the technology landscape
- Providing development support for current pipelines to troubleshoot tough data-related issues
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Data Software Engineering
- Proficiency in PySpark
- Knowledge of the Azure cloud stack
- Expertise in handling large and complex datasets
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a team and with various stakeholders
- Background in upgrading and maintaining data systems
- Understanding of evolving data consumption requirements
- Skills in tackling and dissecting complex data issues
- Fluent English communication abilities at B2+ level
Nice to have
- Background in Azure Analytics Engineering
- Understanding of DevOps practices
