Transformation Program Manager – SAP (Spain with travel to Germany) Description
EPAM is looking for a Transformation Program Manager with expertise in SAP to join our team in Spain (with travel to Germany, Nuremberg area).
The Transformation Program Manager SAP will be responsible for leading and managing a diverse portfolio of SAP projects, overseeing a number of delivery teams with 200+ FTEs in a complex multi-vendor and global setup. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive program management experience, a deep understanding of SAP implementations and the ability to handle multiple delivery models, including both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The Transformation Program Manager SAP will ensure successful end-to-end program delivery, stakeholder satisfaction and risk mitigation, all while maintaining quality, budget and scope control.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale SAP transformation program with a team of 200+ FTEs in a multi-vendor, global environment
- Oversee project execution from end-to-end using Waterfall, Agile and hybrid methodologies for SAP implementations
- Ensure alignment with business goals while managing the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing and deployment
- Manage complex onsite/offshore delivery ensuring seamless collaboration across different geographies
- Define and control program and project scope, ensuring that deliverables meet business requirements
- Manage budgets, track financial performance and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints
- Conduct thorough risk analysis and develop strategies to mitigate potential project risks, handling program dependencies and issues proactively
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide regular status reporting and program tracking to leadership, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution
- Align to existing, define additional and track overall Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to monitor the success of each phase of the project, ensuring delivery excellence through continuous improvement
Requirements
- Ability to travel to Germany from Spain on a regular basis
- Expertise in ERP transformation programs, including development, integration, data migration to deliver impactful results for the business
- Experience with multiple SAP modules, including development, integration, data migration and ERP upgrades
- Experience implementing SAP in Retail/Fashion industry
- Adaptability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong planning, execution and problem-solving capabilities
- Apply a strategic and business-focused mindset to align SAP projects with broader organizational objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred
- Agile certification (SAFe or similar) preferred
