We are seeking a dedicated Data Project Manager to lead a dynamic team on a project centered around the utilization of natural resources using cutting-edge data processing and artificial intelligence technologies, particularly in on-premises environments and computer vision. The role involves managing, analyzing, and enhancing large volumes of data to improve processes and aid in strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
• Optimize data processing and management workflows
• Implement agile and other delivery approaches to ensure effective project execution
• Address data security challenges throughout the project
• Present project updates and outcomes to audiences of varying sizes
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets responsibly
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and integrate relevant technological solutions
• Ensure alignment of project goals with overarching business objectives

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in gathering customer business requirements
• Proficiency in managing data and analytics projects; Big Data and Data Warehousing
• Familiarity with data platform engineering, including batch streaming, ingestion, storage, processing, management, integration, and consumption
• Strong communication skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• High stress-tolerance ability
• Good understanding of data engineering challenges
• Background in various project delivery methodologies, including Agile
• Understanding of data-related security challenges
• Competency in presenting to both large and small audiences

Nice to have

• Background in computer science or a related field
• Familiarity with *nix based environments
• Understanding of AI implementation concepts, especially Computer Vision
• Knowledge of SDLC approaches and best practices
• Insight into data mining, predictive analytics, and machine learning
