Responsibilities

Monitor the ticketing system, analyze incidents and requests from end-users, and respond or escalate accordingly
Identify and resolve application issues, providing root cause analysis and recommendations for improvements
Support workflows and provide expert knowledge on workflow designs
Plan and facilitate requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations
Lead review sessions for completed business/functional requirements with key business users to gain consensus and final approval
Build and maintain strong relationships within business units and support functions
Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide subject matter expertise and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues
Ensure that proposed solutions enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes
Participate in the development and planning of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test plans and scripts
Facilitate UAT execution phase and work with business lead and project manager to obtain user acceptance test signoff

Requirements

2+ years of business analysis experience in the Commercial Property & Casualty insurance industry
Proficiency in policy administration solutions and familiarity with integration to external systems
Background in using GuideWire, agile methodologies, SDLC & PMLC processes
Experience writing business requirements, functional requirements or user stories, business process diagrams, and data rules
Understanding of IT solutions for business process improvements automation
Capability to troubleshoot system issues effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to self-manage, function with ambiguity and ensure task completion
Competency in using Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as SharePoint and UI mockup tools
