Systems Engineer Description
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be required to visit the office twice a month and should be proficient in managing and troubleshooting system configurations and software. This role involves providing substantial support and guidance to team members while ensuring efficient system operations.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities
- Handle end-user requests and provide technical support and guidance
- Consult users on issues related to various support services and related documentation
- Conduct incident responses, perform root cause investigations and troubleshoot systems
- Assist team members in resolving technical issues and improving their technical skills
- Collaborate with team members through regular communications and active participation in meetings
- Write and update technical and user documentation
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, identifying and resolving performance issues
- Utilize scripting skills to automate processes and enhance system efficiencies
- Read and understand codebases primarily in Go and systems configurations
- Provide input into improving system functionality and remediation strategies
- Work with tools like BlackDuck, Black Duck Binary Analysis, and Mend for securing and managing open-source usage
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with systems engineering or related field
- Proficiency in troubleshooting system issues
- Capability to provide technical support and guidance to other team members
- Qualifications in managing CI/CD troubleshooting through Jenkins and GitHub Issues
- Understanding of Splunk Dashboards
- Background in security tools such as BlackDuck, Black Duck Binary Analysis, and Mend
- Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to various technologies and projects
- Background in scripting and automation
- Familiarity with on-call support systems and requirements including availability for passive 24/7 support for 10 days per month
- Proven experience in writing comprehensive technical and user documentation
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
