We seek an SAP Technical Engineering Manager to lead our expert team in SAP Basis/SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administration.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of SAP experts, providing direction and overwatching all SAP Basis/SAP BTP operations
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all departments
- Craft proposals and prepare statements of work for SAP projects, collaborating closely with IT teams and business stakeholders
- Design and implement high-performance technical solutions in SAP Basis/BTP
- Manage projects using SAP Activate methodology, encompassing everything from inception to post-production support
- Maintain expert-level knowledge in SAP Basis and BTP, ensuring adherence to best practices and overseeing system upgrades, installations and configurations
- Administer and optimize SAP landscapes for performance, security and stability
- Promptly troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, driving compliance with company policies through regular system audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- At least 7 years of proven experience in SAP Basis and SAP BTP administration, ideally in a managerial role
- Deep-rooted knowledge in SAP system administration, with specific expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA and SAP BTP
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Outstanding leadership skills accompanied by first-rate communication and interpersonal abilities and a forward-thinking approach to technological innovation
Nice to have
- Experience as an SAP Technical Architect
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA transition scenarios
- SAP certifications
- Practical knowledge and certifications with hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
