We are in search of a Lead Cloud Native Node.js Engineer with a strong focus on integrating AI capabilities into our projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate notable leadership in guiding a team of engineers while possessing robust proficiency in Node.js. Additionally, a deep understanding of at least one major cloud provider is required. The role demands familiarity with Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) for seamlessly integrating AI capabilities into scalable solutions.
This position offers hybrid setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Lithuania, whether it's your home or our dynamic offices in Vilnius and Kaunas.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and deployment of cloud-native solutions with an emphasis on AI integration
- Direct the architectural design and launching of AI-driven applications using Node.js frameworks such as Express or NestJS
- Propel the integration of Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to enhance language comprehension and generation capabilities in projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with technical solutions driven by AI
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee the implementation of AI-based features and functionalities, ensuring adherence to cloud-native architectures and best practices
- Maintain code quality and documentation, upholding coding standards
- Keep abreast with advancements in Node.js, cloud computing, AI technologies, and Cloud Native architectures, leading innovative solution exploration to bolster AI capabilities
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in managing engineering teams with a focus on Node.js and AI integration
- Proven proficiency in cloud computing with practical experience in major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- In-depth familiarity with Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent collaborative capabilities
- Exceptional communication abilities, with the proficiency to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders

- Advanced knowledge in Cloud Native architectures
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices design

Salary range €3.8K-€6.7K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
