We are seeking a talented Lead Software Developer with expertise in Node.js to join us in creating exceptional software solutions.

This role focuses on guiding our development teams in creating high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions that leverage the latest technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js, PostgreSQL and Angular, with the ability to design and implement robust, efficient, and maintainable code.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Build scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems using Node.js
• Design and implement data storage solutions using PostgreSQL
• Develop user-facing features using Angular (nice-to-have skill)
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of applications
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Developer with expertise in Node.js and PostgreSQL
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience with Sequelize ORM
• Familiarity with Git for version control
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js, etc.)
• Knowledge of other backend technologies (Express.js, Django, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.)
• Experience with Java, Spring, and MySQL database
