Senior Machine Learning Engineer Description

Join our innovative team as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and take the lead in pioneering solutions for the energy sector. You will design and maintain the complete end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration of algorithms into our production environment. Work hands-on with seismic and well log data, identifying key geologic characteristics and managing various subsurface data formats. You will also be responsible for writing clear specifications, documentation, and user guides. Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the complete end-to-end machine learning life cycle
  • Work with products related to seismic and well log data
  • Identify simple geologic characteristics within data (faults, horizons) as well as different subsurface data formats and types
  • Lead the transition of machine learning algorithms to the production environment and integration into the ecosystem
  • Write specifications, documentation and user guides for developed solutions

Requirements

  • Extensive experience building and deploying machine learning models
  • Strong understanding of image processing and time series signal processing
  • Highly skilled in TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Comfortable training and fine-tuning ML models
  • Hands on with building and maintaining data pipelines for image and other sensor data
  • Exposure to ML Ops tools and practices such as model monitoring, versioning, and deployment
  • History working with cloud platforms such as GCP
  • Familiar with data labelling tools and edge deployments
  • Knowledge of Protocol Buffers and Containers
  • Ability to build prototypes to validate hypotheses
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only.
