We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python and AWS for our client, one of the largest providers of mutual funds and the second-largest provider of exchange-traded funds in the world.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days of work per week from our office in Gdansk or Krakow.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve your skills and knowledge
• Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Python
• Focus on details, be critical of accuracy, and be passionate about computer programming
• Ability to work autonomously
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of investment management is preferable
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or any related discipline
• Proficiency in an object-oriented or functional programming paradigm, such as Java or Python
• Experience in the Investment Management Industry is preferable, but not a prerequisite

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NumPy and Pandas
• Competency in Python OOP principles
• Experience with React JS
