We’re looking for a Business Consulting Manager with expertise in commercial excellence and commerce services related to the retail and consumer market to join our team in Amsterdam. Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor within the CPG&R space, providing consultative solutions to address strategic and tactical business needs in eB2B, Direct-to-Consumer, and Business-to-Consumer commercial models
• Play a pivotal role in shaping and refining EPAM’s consulting value proposition within the FMCG and Retail space to help evolve a commercially viable eCommerce operating model
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology-focused transformation projects across a variety of areas (Retail, E-Commerce, Supply Chain)
• Equip account managers and sales teams with the knowledge, materials, advice, and support required to enable you to pursue opportunities within Retail and Consumer Products clients and prospects
• Assess client opportunities, generate & respond to RFPs, create proposals and presentations, establish senior relationships with clients and prospective clients, and help close/sign new deals
• Proactively identify, shape, and scope consulting engagements, establish optimal operating models and project team organization, and lead the transition from the sales process to the delivery phase
• Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as with external and internal partners to maximize the growth of practice activities within our Retail and Consumer Products portfolios
• Align with Business Unit goals and objectives, supporting company financial goals including revenue and profit targets

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in a consulting company/FMCG/Retail industry with an in-depth understanding of business-to-consumer, direct-to-consumer and business-to-business models
• FMCG Commercial Excellence Consultant with experience in various go-to-market commercial models
• Understanding of the underlying commerce technologies, with the ability to conduct product selections, define business cases, and create product roadmaps that map business needs to technology solutions
• Expertise in one or more consumer industry sub-verticals, such as CPG and Retail, with a focus on B2B Commerce
• Strong problem-solving and creative-thinking skills
• Proven ability to manage client consulting engagements and oversee the completion of digital innovation transformation programs
• Sound business acumen, commercial and strategic skills, numeric fluency, negotiation abilities, and advocacy for diversity
