We are looking for a Senior Automated Testing Engineer with a specialty in JavaScript to join our growing product development team.

This position plays a crucial role in the creation, execution, and management of automated testing suites and frameworks that improve the continuous integration and delivery of our innovative applications. The preferred candidate will possess deep experience in leveraging contemporary testing methodologies utilizing frameworks such as Cypress and Playwright to ensure software quality and dependability.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Develop a detailed test automation strategy that aligns with project goals and schedules
• Identify key application areas that will gain from enhancements in automated testing
• Write, run, and update JavaScript automated test scripts for both front-end and back-end components
• Utilize Cypress and Playwright for various testing requirements including end-to-end, integration, and UI testing
• Seamlessly incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in cooperation with the DevOps team
• Ensure all application features adhere to strict quality standards and meet functional requirements before release
• Work with developers and product managers to create effective test plans tailored to specific project demands
• Constantly assess and enhance test coverage and efficiency while streamlining testing operations
• Monitor and control defects with bug tracking tools and provide thorough test results and reports
• Collaborate with other teams to synchronize testing activities with overall development strategies
• Effectively communicate test developments, results, and challenges to all stakeholders
• Keep up-to-date with recent automated testing trends and technologies and assess new tools for potential implementation

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in automated testing and software development, primarily focusing on JavaScript
• Proficiency in using frameworks such as Cypress and Playwright
• Capability to merge automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of web technologies and skills in API testing
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
• Fluency in English (B2+ level)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based development settings
• Background in performance and security testing techniques
