We are seeking a Lead Node.js Developer with a strong focus on AWS Lambda to join our team in developing a cutting-edge e-commerce consumer communication solution.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about crafting personalized communication strategies, from newsletters to marketing and transactional communications utilizing serverless architecture.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement serverless architectures with AWS Lambda
• Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Node.js
• Integrate and manage event-driven systems using Apache Kafka
• Conduct code reviews to ensure engineering best practices
• Lead the setup and optimization of CI/CD pipelines
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
• Enhance system observability and monitoring
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Drive the adoption of design principles and patterns
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices and technologies

Requirements

• Proficiency in Node.js with at least 5 years of working experience
• 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
• Expertise in AWS Lambda and other AWS services
• Understanding of event-driven and microservices architecture
• Skills in Apache Kafka, TypeScript, and serverless technologies
• Background in implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to and learn new technologies

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS Pinpoint
• Competency in AWS Simple Email Service
• Knowledge of Amazon Kinesis
