We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our innovative team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions, database modeling, and developing scalable data platforms. You will work with classic ETL/ELT technologies, data management tools, and modern cloud-based solutions. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to lead a team, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.

Technologies

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP): storage, computing, networking, security, DWH, and databases (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, etc.)
• Data integration tools (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, GCP Dataflow, Talend, Informatica, etc.)
• Programming languages: SQL, Python, SparkSQL, PySpark, R, Bash, Scala
• Relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data integration solutions, model databases, and build reliable data platforms
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather requirements and evaluate new capabilities
• Develop and optimize cloud-based or hybrid data processing solutions
• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to design and implement high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and ensuring solution quality
• Lead a team of 2-5 engineers, mentor, and provide technical guidance
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Independently manage tasks and execute them without the need for constant supervision

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in data management, storage, modeling, analytics, migration, and database design
• Experience working with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Deep knowledge of leading cloud data warehousing solutions (Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with data integration tools (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, GCP Dataflow, Talend, Informatica, Pentaho, Apache NiFi, KNIME, SSIS, etc.)
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL optimization, stored procedures, transactions, security)
• Experience in developing and deploying cloud solutions, monitoring, and optimizing their performance
• Understanding of data stream integration principles, CDC methods, and delta extracts
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, data flow orchestration, and testing solutions
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: SQL, Python, SparkSQL, PySpark, R, Bash, Scala
• Understanding of Data Security principles (Row-level security, auditing, etc.)
• Experience in data modeling (OLAP, OLTP, ETL, DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Data Mesh)
• Knowledge of archiving, data cleansing, and retention policies
• Ability to work in Agile teams and communicate with clients and stakeholders
• Proficiency in English sufficient for professional communication

Salary range €3.6K-€5.5K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
