EPAM Vietnam is hiring a Senior System Engineer to join our talented team.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for production stability and problem resolution of the Quant/Enterprise Technology systems
• Be responsible for the readiness and effective operation of production environments, including performing routine maintenance on file, data stores, and job control systems
• Participate in on-call rotations
• Investigate complex issues of production delivery, run the root cause analysis, conduct root cause analysis, develop solutions, and implement necessary steps
• Identify and manage risks, proactively flagging and escalating major issues
• Consistently commit to deadlines and take ownership in resolving issues in a timely manner

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in system engineering or application support
• Strong troubleshooting aptitude in production support
• Demonstrates proactivity and strong communication
• Hands-on experience in creating, improving, supporting technology systems, and releasing technical solutions preferably in a Microsoft environment
• Experience with monitoring tools: Grafana, Victoria Metrics, Solar Winds, and ElasticSearch
• Understanding of ITIL processes
• Experience working in complex environments with multiple dependencies
