We are seeking a Senior QA (Automation) to join our team.

As the Key Tester, you will play a vital role in transitioning our testing services from mostly manual to automated. This position is based in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Determine approach to effectively utilize resources and testing methods
• Identify potential areas for automation
• Manually execute test cases across different functionalities, logging all identified defects and bugs in the tracking system
• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered in pre-defined test cases
• Amend test cases and test steps to ensure its up-to-date based on the application current version
• Prepare the necessary test data (if applicable) and maintain a test data bank to ensure sufficient data is available for multiple scenario-based testing
• Participate in usability testing sessions to identify usability issues and suggest improvements
• Prepare detailed test reports with clear documentation of test execution results, defect logs and regression testing coverage
• Take ownership in Karate to Pytest migration

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Automated Testing using Python
• Experience in customer-facing
• Strong in test management and functional testing
• Understanding of Test Automation Approaches and Test Automation Principles
• Working from 9.00 AM till 6.00 PM in a fully remote setting

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python programming, Karate & Gatling
