We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to facilitate Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the product owner, architects, and various stakeholders to drive our Cloud strategy forward and ensure a seamless operational environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of Azure cloud infrastructure within an enterprise setting. You will be responsible for deploying and maintaining Azure Virtual Desktops, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and contributing to our agile delivery roadmap. Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain infrastructure via Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines using GitHub and Terraform
• Ensure platform compliance according to our customer's security standards
• Create reusable Terraform modules
• Develop automations to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency
• Implement platform monitoring
• Create and maintain Intune policies and applications
• Participate in our global cloud community
• Collaborate effectively with our stakeholders including GSO Tech Cloud teams and customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer, specialized in Microsoft Azure
• 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
• Proven expertise in creating Terraform modules and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines
• Good understanding of complex cloud infrastructure landscapes
• Proven experience in automating manual processes
• Team-oriented mindset
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and out-of-the-box mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps practices
• Experience with Intune
