Lead Presales Consultant Description

We are seeking a Lead Presales Consultant with a strong understanding of the software industry, coupled with expertise in the life sciences or healthcare domain, and a proven track record in proposal development. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers, sales teams, senior leadership, and domain experts from EPAM’s Solution Practices, Competency Centers, and Business Units to craft compelling and winning solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire proposal development lifecycle, including opportunity assessment, response planning, team coordination, and process management
  • Build and nurture a network of trusted professionals within EPAM’s technical, industry, delivery, and account teams to support solution creation
  • Define strategies, objectives, and preparation plans for client engagements to align with organizational goals
  • Translate business objectives into actionable solutions that leverage EPAM’s capabilities and service offerings
  • Create technical, organizational, and business concepts, highlighting value propositions and key differentiators
  • Identify and develop reusable solution frameworks and service offerings to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Design advanced engagement and pricing models for multi-year, outcome-driven agreements
  • Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations to showcase EPAM’s expertise, services, and competitive advantages
  • Enhance and refine materials that demonstrate EPAM’s industry experience across various sectors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize presales processes and tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in presales consulting or a similar role with a strong focus on proposal development
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience leading teams in roles such as Architect, Manager, or similar positions
  • Comprehensive IT experience in software design and delivery across multiple roles
  • Proven project management experience, including the ability to plan and execute complex initiatives
  • Familiarity with managed services agreements and expertise in structuring such deals
  • Strong skills in creating clear documentation and professional presentations
  • Broad understanding of technology solutions, including Digital, IoT, Data, and SDLC methodologies
  • Knowledge of cloud delivery models, architecture principles, and design frameworks
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a C1 level or higher

Nice to have

  • Experience in the life sciences or healthcare industry, with knowledge in areas such as drug development, medical technology, chemistry/biology, genomics, or digital health
  • Background in solution consulting, opportunity management, or proposal development
