We are looking for a skilled Lead DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) to join our collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Design and implement container strategies using Kubernetes and Anthos
Manage and optimize the Docker image lifecycle for deployment
Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code to automate provisioning
Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
Integrate and configure testing frameworks like Kuberhealthy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cloud infrastructure
Monitor and maintain system performance and reliability
Develop scripts and tools using Python to enhance automation
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
Over 1 year of leadership experience in guiding technical projects
Experience in Kubernetes with a focus on vanilla/Anthos, AKS, EKS, or GKE
Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management
Background in Docker for containerization
Familiarity with networking concepts and configurations
Understanding of Jenkins or GitLab for CI/CD practices
Capability to write scripts in Python for automation
Knowledge of Helm for Kubernetes package management
Experience with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
Fluency in English for effective communication

Nice to have

Certification in Kubernetes administration
Experience with Go programming language
Familiarity with security controls like Gatekeeper and SCPs
Exposure to tier 3 support for complex issues
Knowledge of additional cloud service providers
