We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team.

This role demands a reliable professional with advanced technical expertise to ensure smooth operation, management, and optimization of our network and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is committed to excellence and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for network infrastructure, including Cisco switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and VPN client solutions such as GlobalProtect
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2016-2019) including Active Directory, Group Policy configurations, DFS, WSUS, and Certificate Authority systems
• Deliver end-user support for Windows 10 Enterprise and ensure smooth operations across desktops and associated systems
• Administer firewalls and manage firewall rules, ensuring secure connectivity for client VPN and Site-to-Site VPN solutions
• Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of Symantec Update server ensuring timely updates and performance optimization
• Collaborate on the execution of routing/switching tasks, proactively addressing issues and maintaining network stability
• Adhere to ITIL standards in incident management, problem resolution, and change management processes
• Identify and address network vulnerabilities using expertise in basic Palo Alto Networks PA-800 Series Firewall configurations or equivalent hardware
• Deliver reliable Cisco switch support, with hands-on experience at the Catalyst 2960 series level or higher
• Provide technical insights into network and firewall technologies such as Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet, or other alternatives

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in infrastructure and network support roles
• 1+ years of experience supporting network firewalls
• 1+ years of experience supporting Cisco switches such as the Catalyst 2960 series or higher
• Knowledge of CCNA-level networking concepts and troubleshooting
• Expertise in network technologies including Cisco switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration tasks, covering AD, Group Policies, WSUS, and DFS systems
• Background in deploying and optimizing firewalls, client VPN, and Site-to-Site VPN setups
• Capability to provide technical support for Palo Alto Networks NGFW or equivalent firewall technologies
• Familiarity with Symantec Update server and its integration into the network infrastructure
• Competency in routing/switching concepts with hands-on experience in basic troubleshooting
• Understanding of ITIL best practices for operational efficiency

• Showcase of practical experience with Palo Alto Networks PA-800 Series Firewalls
• Qualifications in alternative firewall solutions such as Checkpoint, Cisco, or Fortinet
• Flexibility to use WDS/MDT tools to build and deploy Windows environments
