We are seeking an Enterprise Data Specialist to lead data initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define and document data architecture and modeling needs
- Architect and design comprehensive solutions for the enterprise data warehouse, sourcing data from multiple insurance and reinsurance systems
- Design and implement Source to Target mappings optimized for high-volume data integration
- Create logical and physical data models and implement them on Microsoft SQL Server platforms
- Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate translation of mappings into code
- Develop strategies for data collection and ingestion and write SQL-based solutions to validate data accuracy and integrity
- Analyze and design enterprise data models for optimal reporting and support reporting teams in utilizing the data warehouse effectively
- Participate in release planning and validate changes post-deployment
- Develop Microsoft SQL Server views for reporting and dashboard development
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL and Informatica mappings and stored procedures
Requirements
- 5 years of data architecture and design experience with development teams
- 3 years of experience within the insurance and reinsurance domain
- Advanced experience extracting data from insurance applications
- Extensive knowledge of data warehousing, ETL and business intelligence architectures
- Capability to create and tune semantic layer reporting views
- Knowledge of relational database management systems platforms including Microsoft SQL Server
- B.S. degree in Computer Information Science, Information Management, or Statistics
- Strong interpersonal skills with proficiency in both written and verbal communication
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center and Guidewire Claims Center
- Familiarity with SAP Financial Services Collections and Disbursements and SAP Financial Accounting General Ledger applications
