We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Network Engineer with expertise in DNS management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based and on-premise network solutions, ensuring high availability and robust DNS infrastructures across diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud network infrastructure
• Work with BlueCat centralized DNS and DHCP management systems
• Manage DNS records across cloud-native solutions (AWS Route 53, GCP Cloud DNS, Azure DNS) and integrate with on-premises solutions like BlueCat
• Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues for high availability and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions aligned with business needs
• Automate network tasks using scripting languages and tools to optimize efficiency
• Stay updated on the latest cloud networking and DNS management trends and industry best practices

Requirements

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in cloud networking and DNS
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking services like VPC, VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud DNS
• Proficiency in managing Cloud/BlueCat servers and DNS configurations
• Expertise in network security principles and practices
• Strong understanding of network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Background in IP addressing and subnetting using IPv4 addressing and CIDR notation for optimal network designs
• Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages, including Python and Terraform
• Competency in working with Jenkins Pipeline for infrastructure automation
• Showcase of skills in network monitoring using tools like ELK and SolarWinds
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to perform well under pressure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interface with teams
• Flexibility to work remotely and participate in an on-call rotation
