Responsibilities

Implement portal solutions using Liferay
Integrate Liferay with other systems
Develop custom solutions based on Liferay
Utilize JavaScript for front-end development
Design and develop Java/J2EE applications
Apply MVC design pattern in application development
Implement and utilize web services for system integrations
Work with Hibernate and Spring frameworks
Develop microservices for enhanced application functionality
Manage database interactions using T-SQL
Configure Liferay sites and organizations with appropriate permissions
Develop portlets and custom themes in Liferay
Implement logging and usage analytics components
Participate in the full software development lifecycle
Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application design and development
Strong knowledge of Liferay platform
Proficiency in JavaScript
Background in SQL and T-SQL
Familiarity with OSGi framework
Experience with Spring MVC framework
Capability to implement web services and system integrations
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Experience in delivering extranet or customer portals
English proficiency at a professional level

Nice to have

Certification in Java programming
Familiarity with RabbitMQ or Kafka
Experience with Servlets and JSP
Understanding of Azure or Amazon Web Services
Background in configuring and administering Liferay applications
