Senior EDI Support Engineer Description

We are looking for a Senior EDI Support Engineer to join our technology and business consulting team.

You will play a crucial role in managing EDI message types and ensuring seamless communication with connected partners. If you are eager to tackle challenges and collaborate with a dedicated team, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end operational support between the organization and connected partners
  • Resolve tickets from the service management tool
  • Investigate initial issues and develop solutions
  • Maintain and support existing EDI message types
  • Integrate new partners into the EDI system
  • Collaborate closely with external and internal resources in an agile environment
  • Work with the Scrum Master to enhance team productivity
  • Document processes and technical specifications
  • Assist in optimizing EDI processes and protocols

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in SAP Logistics with a focus on Sales and Distribution
  • Proficiency in EDI and its technical implementation in the SAP environment
  • Familiarity with IDOC types for sales orders, order responses, dispatch advice, invoicing, and sales reporting
  • Capability to utilize service management tools and incident management systems
  • Understanding of communication protocols for EDI message types
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Fluent in English
