Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects or programs, consisting of 40-100+ people (4-6 feature teams)
• Participate in design and architectural discussions within the team and with customers
• Build high-level software architectures (components/applications, deployment, sequence/DFD), aligned with business goals
• Create and maintain conceptual diagrams for technology stacks
• Guide and coach the team on best engineering practices, ensuring proper implementation
• Conduct code reviews, effort estimations, release planning, and capacity management
• Design and implement build policies, CI/CD automation (DevOps), and quality gates
• Propose tools/software to improve development efficiency
• Assess skill gaps and address the training needs of team members
• Manage the scope of projects, including release planning, roadmap, MVP, and time to market
• Control scope creep and manage changes effectively through the change control process
• Anticipate and manage risks early, escalating when necessary
• Ensure quality through the adoption of quality metrics, manual vs. automation testing strategies, and industry-standard tools
• Regularly report project status to stakeholders, conduct retrospectives, and implement improvements in development processes
• Maintain a timeline-bound project roadmap, including long-term delivery forecasts

Requirements

• Strong technical and analytical skills, with expertise in Java
• Extensive experience in software architecture design and implementation of high-level solutions
• Depth in one technology and a broad understanding of multiple technologies
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and quality gates
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management approaches
• Proven track record of managing large teams and complex projects
• Understanding of ISO project management standards and information security processes
• Ability to make strategic business decisions and ensure the successful execution of projects
• B2+ English level proficiency
