Junior Game Tester Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Game Tester to be part of our newly established Performance Playtesting Team. This position focuses on ensuring top-tier gaming experiences and fostering a fair competitive environment for players of all skill levels.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct playtesting activities across various game titles, incorporating both structured test-case-based testing and exploratory-style approaches
  • Set up consoles and mobile devices for playtesting sessions
  • Utilize necessary tools and platforms to execute daily tasks
  • Report identified defects
  • Fill out post-playtesting questionnaires

Requirements

  • Active gaming background: familiarity with multiple titles, genres, and platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of PC/Windows
  • Discretion when handling protected client information
  • Flexibility to join planned weekend overtime shifts, once per quarter
  • In-office work availability, starting 9-9:30 AM (UTC -04)
  • A2+ written and B1 spoken level of English

Nice to have

  • Understanding of game testing processes, including experience with A/B playtesting and functional testing
  • Background in functional testing fundamentals: theory, processes, and tools
  • Proficiency in logging bugs in Jira
