We are searching for a Senior DBA & Cloud Migration Specialist to join our team.

You will serve as a central contributor in delivering database services within our Enterprise Infrastructure Services group. Your expertise in database administration and cloud migration will play a vital role in supporting our clients and ensuring seamless system functionality.

Responsibilities

• Provide rotational 24 x 7 on-call support for production databases
• Plan database technology projects and advise on consulting needs
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server databases with advanced proficiency
• Design MySQL and Oracle database infrastructures
• Develop and execute database disaster recovery strategies
• Oversee database security administration across platforms
• Support DBMS environments on platforms like Z/OS, Windows, Linux, AIX, and ESX
• Collaborate with teams to advance database-related initiatives
• Prioritize requests to align with key business objectives
• Apply creative solutions to optimize database functionality
• Facilitate database migrations to cloud platforms
• Ensure adherence to database security standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of expertise in Database Administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
• Background in MySQL and Oracle Database Platforms
• Competency in database disaster recovery methodologies
• Familiarity with database security management
• Flexibility to support operating systems such as Z/OS, Windows, Linux, AIX, and ESX
• Understanding of cloud migration techniques
• English qualifications at a professional working level

Nice to have

• Certification in Microsoft SQL Server technologies
• Knowledge of Azure cloud service frameworks
• Proficiency in managing MongoDB databases
• Expertise in database performance optimization techniques
• Familiarity with agile-driven project management approaches
