We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead QA Automation Engineer with advanced expertise in JavaScript to guide our quality assurance automation initiatives, foster team development, and set the strategic direction for enhancing software testing capabilities in a dynamic Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile process, ensuring high standards of software quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to define test requirements and ensure testability at all stages
• Establish and drive test strategies while mentoring and guiding development and product teams in quality assurance best practices
• Define, design, and refine comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to validate the quality, reliability, and performance of software products
• Develop, execute, and enhance automation frameworks, including GUI Testing, API Testing, Performance Testing, Functional Testing, and Smoke Testing
• Implement advanced test automation practices, focusing on scalability and maintainability, integrated with CI/CD tools and workflows
• Lead initiatives to improve and scale automated CI flows in collaboration with the DevOps team
• Perform and coordinate in-depth regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected during development cycles
• Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and work closely with development teams to drive defect resolution and prevention
• Maintain robust documentation, including test protocols, troubleshooting guides, and automation frameworks, ensuring knowledge is shared across teams
• Develop and conduct training programs for team members on automated testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies
• Act as the primary advocate for automation and quality testing, driving cultural change in engineering practices around testing
• Evaluate emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies in QA automation, continuously introducing meaningful improvements to processes
• Lead the creation of reports, findings, and insights to inform project decisions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements within the QA processes
• Collaborate with hiring managers to interview and help onboard QA automation team members, providing mentorship to junior team members

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in QA automation or software development focused on testing
• Strong leadership skills with 1+ years of experience mentoring and guiding QA teams toward success
• Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks and tools
• Proven expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, with strong knowledge of CSS and HTML
• Deep familiarity with version control, CI/CD practices, defect tracking, and test management tools (e.g., Azure, Git, Jenkins, JIRA)
• Hands-on experience with cutting-edge web end-to-end testing frameworks, such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Puppeteer
• Proficiency in designing test cases for GUI, API, Functional, and Performance Testing scenarios across complex software systems
• Demonstrated ability to analyze technical challenges, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)

Nice to have

• Expertise in additional programming languages such as C# and experience with .NET frameworks
• Knowledge of native web and mobile application testing, leveraging tools such as Appium or Xamarin
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and scalable infrastructure design
• Proven experience in performance testing and monitoring tools tailored for enterprise applications
