Senior APIs and Integration Developer Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior APIs and Integration Developer to join our team and take a leading role in creating and refining API solutions and system integrations. This role provides the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies, driving seamless system connectivity and supporting the development of scalable and high-performing digital infrastructures.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with varied teams to architect and implement API and integration solutions
  • Develop, test, and optimize reusable and scalable code for API platforms
  • Safeguard secure and efficient data communication between systems and applications
  • Diagnose and address integration challenges to maintain operational efficiency
  • Enhance API functionality to improve reliability and scalability
  • Prepare and update comprehensive documentation for API designs, workflows, and best practices
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements and trends in API and integration technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related area of study
  • At least three years of hands-on experience as an API and Integration Developer
  • In-depth knowledge of API standards, including SOAP, RAML, GraphQL, and OpenAPI Specification (OAS), combined with a strong grasp of API design methodologies
  • Extensive experience with JSON technologies, such as JSON and JSON Schema, for data formatting and validation
  • Proficiency with Kong solutions, including Kong Gateway, Kong Platform, Kong Konnect, and Kong Enterprise, for managing and deploying APIs
  • Expertise in XML technologies, including XML Path Language, XML Schema, XSLT, and XML, for handling structured data
  • Fluency in English at a B1 level or higher, with strong communication abilities to collaborate in an international work environment

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and tools for system integration
  • Experience with microservices architecture and container-based technologies
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for managing API and integration workflows
