Responsibilities
- Collaborate with varied teams to architect and implement API and integration solutions
- Develop, test, and optimize reusable and scalable code for API platforms
- Safeguard secure and efficient data communication between systems and applications
- Diagnose and address integration challenges to maintain operational efficiency
- Enhance API functionality to improve reliability and scalability
- Prepare and update comprehensive documentation for API designs, workflows, and best practices
- Stay informed on the latest advancements and trends in API and integration technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related area of study
- At least three years of hands-on experience as an API and Integration Developer
- In-depth knowledge of API standards, including SOAP, RAML, GraphQL, and OpenAPI Specification (OAS), combined with a strong grasp of API design methodologies
- Extensive experience with JSON technologies, such as JSON and JSON Schema, for data formatting and validation
- Proficiency with Kong solutions, including Kong Gateway, Kong Platform, Kong Konnect, and Kong Enterprise, for managing and deploying APIs
- Expertise in XML technologies, including XML Path Language, XML Schema, XSLT, and XML, for handling structured data
- Fluency in English at a B1 level or higher, with strong communication abilities to collaborate in an international work environment
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and tools for system integration
- Experience with microservices architecture and container-based technologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for managing API and integration workflows
