Primary Skills:

• Ruby (expert-level expertise, 10 YOE)
• PHP, Scala, or TypeScript (nice-to-have)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and scaling of APIs and services for payment and checkout solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and external partners, to deliver innovative payment integrations
• Provide on-call support (2 weeks every 2 months) to ensure platform reliability

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in software engineering with a focus on Ruby and payment systems
• Strong knowledge of databases, scaling, performance optimization, and software architecture
• Experience with PHP, Scala, or TypeScript is a plus
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team
• A strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, operational efficiency, and delivering high-quality solutions
