Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain security infrastructure with a focus on Amazon Web Services and cloud-native security tools
• Develop and optimize security tools and processes using Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting languages such as Bash and Python
• Identify, assess, and manage potential entry points for cyberattacks
• Monitor and analyze output from security tools and software, providing actionable insights and reporting on findings
• Collaborate with engineering teams to secure development environments and provide feedback on the products
• Work with cyber analysts and security engineers to develop threat models, detections, incident response playbooks, and maintain tooling to enhance security intelligence
• Contribute to the design and implementation of enterprise-scale security technologies, including SIEM, vulnerability management, incident response, HIDS/NIDS, PKI, SSO, IAM, and Privileged Access Management
• Support and enhance Crowdstrike EDR tools and SOAR platforms to streamline security operations
• Assist in securing containerized environments, such as Kubernetes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role with hands-on expertise in Amazon Web Services, scripting languages, Terraform, and CloudFormation
• Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise-scale security technologies, including SIEM, vulnerability management, incident response, HIDS/NIDS, PKI, SSO, IAM, and Privileged Access Management
• Experience with CrowdStrike or other Endpoint Detection and Response tools such as Carbon Black, Tanium, or OSQuery
• Familiarity with Security Orchestration and Automated Response platforms and automation tools to enhance incident response workflows
• Hands-on experience with container technologies like Kubernetes and their respective security tools
• Proven ability to identify security gaps and risks, and develop effective remediation plans
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work between technical and business teams, advocating for security policies and procedures

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity Certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, etc.)
• Experience in penetration testing
• Understanding of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance implementation
