We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst specializing in Data Analysis to enhance our data projects.

As a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Data Analysis, you will play a crucial role in driving data migration projects and facilitating collaboration with business users. You will be responsible for producing comprehensive mapping documents and conducting gap analyses, ensuring our data solutions meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data migration projects from legacy platforms to cloud solutions
• Write Source to Target mapping documents to detail data transformations
• Conduct gap analysis of databases and document discrepancies in business logic
• Gather and analyze data using SQL to support business decisions
• Facilitate workshops with business users and summarize action items
• Drive Agile processes and ceremonies to ensure project alignment
• Create user stories based on Sprint and PI goals
• Guide teams in meeting their objectives and managing stakeholder expectations
• Diagram complex processes for clearer discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate requirement gathering

Requirements

• 7-12 years of experience in business analysis or data analysis
• Solid understanding of Confluence, Jira, and SharePoint
• Skills in writing complex SQL queries involving multiple table joins
• Ability to work independently when given a task, asking questions and seeking direction when needed
• General understanding of data migrations and data management principles
• Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Understanding of ETL efforts and the basic process
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and ceremonies
• Experience in gathering requirements
• Strong time management skills

Nice to have

• Experience in wealth management functions
• Familiarity with enterprise data management concepts
• Background in proposal development or solutioning
