Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement API solutions and system integrations
  • Write and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable code for API platforms
  • Ensure secure and reliable data transfer across systems and applications
  • Address and resolve integration issues to uphold system performance
  • Enhance APIs for improved speed, reliability, and scalability
  • Document API designs, workflows, and best practices to support team collaboration
  • Keep informed about new trends and advancements in API development and integration
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field
  • At least 3 years of experience in APIs and integration development
  • Proficiency in API standards such as SOAP, RAML, GraphQL, and OpenAPI Specification (OAS), with a deep understanding of API design principles
  • Advanced knowledge of JSON technologies, including JSON and JSON Schema, for data serialization and validation
  • Expertise in Kong tools, including Kong Gateway, Kong Platform, Kong Konnect, and Kong Enterprise, for API management and deployment
  • Strong background in XML technologies, including XML Path Language, XML Schema, XSLT, and XML, for structured data manipulation
  • English language competency at B1 level or higher, with excellent communication skills to collaborate in a global team environment
Nice to have
  • Background in cloud-based integration platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for API and integration projects
