Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and data processing workflows using AWS services and other data technologies
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design solutions that meet their needs
- Test and deploy data pipelines and data processing workflows to production environments
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and data processing workflows in production environments
- Document data pipelines and data processing workflows
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its data services, such as S3, EC2, EMR, Athena, and Redshift
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- Experience with Snowflake data warehouse
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Apache Spark
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level)
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS Glue and Apache Hive
- Proficiency in Java programming language
