Responsibilities
- Develop RESTful APIs based on SAP CAP on Java and Spring Boot
- Implement backend services using Java and SAP Business Technology Platform
- Apply Domain-Driven Design principles to software development
- Drive technical initiatives and improvements within the team
- Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards
- Utilize DevOps tools such as Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
- Ensure thorough testing and reliable release processes
- Participate in agile development practices including test-driven development
- Maintain source control and build process management
- Support deployment and monitoring of applications in SAP HANA Cloud environment
- Document development processes and technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
Requirements
- Strong Java backend development skills with 3+ years experience
- Experience with SAP CAP Framework and Java integration
- Experience working with SAP Business Technology Platform
- Solid understanding of Spring Boot and its ecosystem
- Experience in REST API implementation including OData
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design concepts
- Capability to drive technical initiatives independently
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins
- Experience with modern software engineering practices including code reviews and testing
- Understanding of agile methodologies including test-driven development and continuous integration
- Proficient source control management skills
- Experience with build and release processes
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Understanding of SAP cloud services and products
- Experience with SAPUI5 for UI development
- Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud platform
