Responsibilities
- Analyze company KPIs and metrics through client Power BI semantic models, develop calculation approaches, and oversee data movement from the warehouse to Power BI
- Collaborate with client teams, including BI professionals and business analysts, to record formulas and define aggregation standards for organizational KPIs
- Set out data transformation guidelines for the EPAM data engineering team to implement KPIs and metrics in the gold layer of the data platform
- Rework and improve Power BI semantic models to incorporate enterprise KPIs and metrics from the data platform
- Work in partnership with the client’s data architect to design data models for the gold layer of the platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related area
- At least seven years of experience in business intelligence or a related specialty
- Minimum two years in a leadership or management role, with the ability to mentor teams, direct project progress, foster best practices, and maintain high standards
- Participation in two or more complete project cycles or involvement in several projects at different development phases
- Expert-level Power BI proficiency
- Experience with data warehouse (DWH) systems
- Strong skills in KPI analysis
- Exceptional problem-solving and collaboration abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- English language competency at B2 level or higher
