Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, define project requirements, and establish clear objectives

Analyze and document workflows, business processes, and system interactions to identify key insights

Recommend and design innovative, data-centric solutions to optimize processes and achieve business goals

Lead workshops, conduct interviews, and facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders

Develop detailed documentation, including user stories, use cases, and business requirements

Serve as a primary point of contact between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle

Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams

Support implementation and testing of solutions to ensure they meet business expectations and objectives

Manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a BI Analyst, preferably with expertise in the insurance industry

Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and creating prototype queries, including joins, aggregates, and basic window functions

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including ETL/ELT processes, Data Lakes, Data Marts, star and snowflake schemas, and the distinction between fact and dimension tables

Practical experience with BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau for creating dashboards and visualizations

Knowledge of data quality principles, including accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness, with experience in validating or testing reports

Ability to convert business requirements into KPIs, metrics, and reporting logic

Experience working with data models, including ER diagrams and understanding entity relationships

Knowledge of master data, reference data, and metadata management practices

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite

Proven ability to independently propose new ideas, process improvements, and innovative solutions

Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills

English proficiency at a B2 level or above for effective collaboration

Comprehensive knowledge of insurance industry processes and regulatory requirements

Experience with additional BI tools or an interest in exploring emerging technologies for data analysis and visualization
