Responsibilities
- Join existing DevOps and agile teams owning AWS infrastructure
- Perform environment infrastructure changes using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform and CloudFormation modules
- Measure system and process performance and implement improvements
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues in AWS cloud environments
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance existing systems
- Identify, evaluate, deploy, and contribute to open source tools and technologies
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- Solid experience with Amazon Web Services, including AWS CloudFormation and Terraform
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code automation techniques
- Experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and AWS ECS
- Experience with CI/CD systems and GitLab pipelines
- Proficiency in Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Shell programming skills with Bash and experience in at least one scripting language such as Python, Perl, or Ruby
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with server-side technologies such as Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, and Redis
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service
- Knowledge of automation using scripting and programming languages beyond Bash
- Experience contributing to open source projects
- Understanding of cloud security best practices
