Responsibilities
- Conduct manual accessibility testing of web and mobile applications against WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards
- Identify violations and provide clear, practical remediation recommendations
- Prepare VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) and custom accessibility reports
- Collaborate effectively within a team and take independent initiative
- Act as a subject matter expert to clients, advising on accessibility compliance and best practices
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate accessibility into the development lifecycle
- Mentor less experienced colleagues in accessibility standards and tools
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in accessibility-related roles, including testing, audits, or consulting tasks
- IAAP CPACC or WAS certification is required; those able to apply for certification may also be considered
- DHS Trusted Tester certification may be considered
- Proficiency in German, French, Dutch, Portuguese, or Italian is required (not native fluency)
- English language proficiency of B2 or higher
- Deep knowledge of WCAG (2.1/2.2), best practices, and techniques, including evaluating their user impact
- Strong expertise in HTML/CSS and WAI-ARIA, particularly as they relate to accessibility
- Background in PDF accessibility is a plus
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities for explaining complex topics to diverse audiences

- Familiarity with accessibility testing approaches/processes, QE/functional testing, and foundational testing principles
